Survivor lives as much as his title. The tiny kitten clung to the person who would end up to be his rescuer as Typhoon Florence took its toll at the Carolinas.

Robert Simmons Jr. sat at the again seat of a small vessel, taking a look on the what was once as soon as the streets of New Bern, now canals. He had lived there for all of his lifestyles. Not anything was once recognizable.

“We accomplished been via Bertha, Fran, Irene, Matthew,” he informed reported Andrew Carter of the News Observer. “And that is the worst it’s ever been, on this phase proper right here.”
